SsangYong Motors has a rich motoring heritage, stretching back more than 50 years to the early 1960s when it made Jeeps for the US Army, and a range of trucks and buses.

Those first steps set SsangYong on a path it has followed ever since: making rugged vehicles that can withstand the punishment of rural environments, heavy loads and unmade roads without passing discomfort on to its passengers.
